11/11 Vibes- Living a Life You Love

11/11 is one of my favorite days on the calendar- other than my birthday, 12/22, of course.

11/11 not only adds up to my beloved 22, but it’s known as one of the most spiritual days of the year.  Representing intuition and enlightenment, 11/11 is the ideal day to redirect your thoughts- remember, they are powerful!

Your thoughts become reality.

Vibrations are high and it’s the perfect time to visualize yours dreams and desires.  Remember, you have the ability to manifest the life you want to live- whether it’s pursuing that book you’re writing or relationship you wish to have.

For me, I am doing the work to live a creative life- not just in my hobbies, but in my career.  I set up a home office, organized my journals, and faced my desk toward the trees.  As my home, spirit, and mind become ready for what is next, the Universe’s plan for me will effortlessly fall into place.

I’ve been writing on this blog for almost three years, and have written about 11/11 before.  However, I unknowingly was still trying to fit in a box that wasn’t meant for me.  I tried teaching, working at a law firm, and being an executive assistant at a nonprofit.  I’ve had endless attempts to make my life work doing things that weren’t in my heart, but upon my move home to Michigan, I refused to live out a story that wasn’t meant for me.

I have to follow my heart.

I found a job within style, have been writing every day, and am making headway with my book.  I’ve connected with amazing people and actually feel I am living with purpose, not just for a paycheck.

Being authentic to who you are makes all the difference in the world- if you’re acting differently than what your soul tells you, you’re just confusing the Universe.

Listen to your intuition- it won’t steer you in the wrong direction.

Listen to the Birds

74462162_2541781802721724_3115489166788395008_n

“Pay the thunder no mind – listen to the birds.”

Our minds race each and every day.  That problem I had last week?  I’ve already forgotten about it.  The worries I have today?  They’re going to be resolved effortlessly.

Our higher power speaks through other people, but sometimes our egos don’t stop and listen.  Meditation is a huge part of my daily life, but I often forget to ask for help.  Sitting by myself has its purpose, but connection with people is equally important.

Since being home, I have had an amazing time reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones.  I’m so grateful to have realized I am loved, cared about, and can give my love back to them in return.

This is a whole new chapter, and I choose to listen to the birds, not the thunder in my mind.

11/11/18: A Powerful Day Of Manifestation

Did you know 11/11/18 is one of the most powerful days for manifestation?

2018 is an 11 year (2 + 0 + 1 + 8 = 11), which holds the energy of creation, spiritual enlightenment, and authentic expression. With three 11’s in the date, the energy is amplified, being three times as powerful.

Even the actual shape of the number 11 represents a gateway; if you notice, you’ll see how 11 looks like two pillars. This gateway is a direct portal between divine inspiration and grounded manifestation.

Do you ever wonder why you continually receive the same ideas over and over, but haven’t acted on them? Perhaps you see all the signs, have repeating thoughts, or hear messages from others reminding you of these ideas. For me, my own passion for helping others through writing has manifested over the years, but I continue to wonder how to take it further. What is the universe telling me? Even more importantly, how do I act on it to bring my ideas to life?

I have big goals and dreams, and I know you do too.

11/11 is the time to stop, meditate, and ask for guidance.

Think about what your heart truly desires. What signs keep leading you in that direction? What actions can you take now to bring your ideas to life?

For 11/11, there are many steps you can take to manifest your divine inspiration into reality.

First, clear your energy. You can do this through meditation, smudging (I recommend white sage), lighting incense, or clearing your aura with crystals. Clear Quartz is a powerful crystal for clearing work as well as amplifying the energy of your own spirit and the other crystals in your collection.

Next, find a quiet space to write down your dreams and goals. Focus on what you do want, not the things you don’t. Whether you write these goals down or create a vision board, your creative efforts will be recognized by the universe and the spirit guides who help lead you on the right path.

Now, ask for guidance. Meditation is a powerful way to let your guides know your intentions. I try and meditate for at least a half hour every day- sometimes longer. By centering my mind and spirit, I am able to clear the outside noise and connect with my higher, authentic self- the self I am meant to be.

It’s common to be confused about what your heart actually desires when society can sway you in many different directions. Meditation assists in reaching into your soul, not media messages or what someone else’s opinion is.

This 11/11, tap into what your soul’s calling is, and visualize the future you wish to manifest. Your thoughts are powerful, and so is your ability to create a life you love. ✨

12/12 Gateway: A Time of Remembering

I’ve been doing a lot of reading on the collective energy this past year, wondering if I was the only person feeling a major “shift.”  I’ve felt an awakening ever since January, and it turns out I’m not the only one.  2017 has been an amazing year of transformation, growth, and enlightenment.  As the year wraps up, today marks a special gateway into peace and prosperity: the 12/12 Time of Remembering.

I came across Jenny Schultz‘s blog, which had a wonderful explanation of this powerful time:

What does the Time of Remembering mean?

It means that all are being shown who they are and also who they are not. One will see what they need to, experience what they need to in order to step fully into their power and embody all that they are. Another will be shown very clearly where they have given away their power to institutions, beliefs, and other people. Most of you will experience a melding of both. As you embody all that you are in each moment, all that you are not must also come to light. Understand that in each moment you are being given a choice.

What type of choice?

You are being given a choice to push past all the doubt and disbelief and honor who you know that you are at your core. In order to do this, all the layers of the matrix must fall away. This can be liberating for some, but many experience deep discomfort as all that they know is being challenged.

Letting old densities leave us can be extremely uncomfortable, causing anxiety, worry, and doubt.  We’ve all been through a lot this past year, so now is the time to prepare for 2018.  As we have let old habits, beliefs, doubts, and patterns fall away in 2017, 2018 will be a time to build, grow, and manifest our goals.  It’s time to live the life you love!

Be conscious of the signs that may be leading you on the right path.  12/12 has many other spiritual significances, connecting us with our higher self.

You’re connecting with the collective

12 represents unity, and two of them together are twice as powerful!  On 12/12, people all over the world are meditating at 12:12 (both AM and PM).  If you get the chance, please tap into that positive energy!  When in doubt, remember that you are part of something much bigger.

You’re on the right path

It’s such a relief to get just a tiny sign that you’re on the right path.  Perhaps you’re thinking of changing careers, picking up a new hobby, or finally writing that book- if so, 12/12 is confirming that now is the time!  Be careful to start new projects until after Mercury Retrograde, though- until December 22nd, be weary of communication issues, technical failures, and confusion.  Now is the time to plan, not execute!

It’s a time of manifestation

Continue to follow your path and dreams!  I’ve been searching for meaning in my life, and 2018 is the time for it all to come to fruition. It’s easy to try to hurry and watch the pieces fall into place, but remember to go with the flow.  If things aren’t working as planned, try to be patient and know that you’re being supported.

Stay positive

It’s so easy to give up when it feels like you’re far from your goals.  Seeing 12:12 is a sign to remember to stay positive- you will better manifest your goals with the power of thought.

I’ve reflected a lot on my goals, what I used to think I wanted, and what I know I want now.  As I get closer into alignment, my faith in the future has grown stronger- at last, I know I am supported.

Raise Your Vibration!

img_8594

In a world full of so many distractions, it can become difficult to stay conscious of your mind, body, and spirit.  Constant running, going and doing has left us feeling irritated, incomplete, flustered and alone.

This morning I saw a post by the inspirational April Adams, who has helped me over the past several months through her book, online advice, and messages of hope.

“If you’re tired of being overwhelmed by feeling other people’s stuff, clear your own stuff (traumas, fears, triggers…). Then you won’t resonate with the lower frequencies anymore and it won’t bother you like it did. Go forth and be free.”

This got me thinking; how can we be free?

Raising your vibration is the first step to clearing your mind and connecting with your higher self.  Enlightenment and connecting with my own spirituality has completely changed my life, perspective, and overall happiness.  This is a new concept for many people, but in a world of hustle and bustle, it’s important for me to share the simple ways that you, too, can live a more peaceful, free life.

Live beautifully.  Enjoying the simple things in the world around me has made my life so much fuller.  I started becoming more conscious of my surroundings while living in New York City, where life seemed to pass by quicker than I could enjoy it.  Amidst getting pushed through the city sidewalks and squeezing into a sweaty subway, I found solace in Central Park, beauty in buildings, and peace by the river.  Slowing down and observing the world may be difficult, but there is beauty all around us.

Become conscious of your thoughts.  I can easily fall into old thinking patterns.  When someone annoys me or life doesn’t go my way, I become grouchy, negative and selfish.  It has become much easier for me to catch myself when I’m thinking negatively about other people and situations; instead, I try and think with compassion.  This is not easy, but there’s a power in positive thinking.  If you continue to think negatively, negative things will come your way.  If you think, “today will be horrible” or “I’m going to miss the train,” chances are, those things will happen to you.  Alternatively, if you start your day with a positive mind, positive things will come your way.

Meditate.  This one can be difficult, but once you are able to sit still and focus on your breath, you’ll discover that the benefits are huge.  I never understood meditation or why I should do it until the first time I felt the “tinglies.”  This can be a bit tricky to explain!  I used to look to people, chemicals, or activities to feel a physical and mental sense of peace, but once I found it in meditation and a connection to my higher self, I didn’t want to stop!  Once I truly learned how to meditate, an overwhelming sense of warmth and comfort came over me.  I finally understood what it meant to connect to my higher self!  Meditation is how I start every day, but I often meditate before bed, at the park during lunch, or sometimes I simply close my eyes on the train to re-center myself on my daily commute.

Make a gratitude list.  I never go a day without writing down what I am grateful for.  I’ve had many stressful situations over the past couple of weeks; I’m looking for a new apartment, I’ve experienced job changes, and to top it off, I have my own personal issues.  Sometimes it feels like the walls are crashing down on me.  However, there’s much more to be grateful for than to be upset about.  I write down simple joys, from my morning coffee to a meaningful conversation that I had with a friend.  Once you start writing down your gratitudes, you’ll realize there’s much more to be thankful for than to be discouraged about.

Focus on physical health.  This includes eating right, drinking plenty of water, avoiding toxins and staying active.  I didn’t realize how negatively alcohol, caffeine, lack of sleep, and diet impacted my life.  I used to “push through” the day, not listening to my body when I was hungry and jittery.  The first step to being mindful is to pay attention to what your body is telling you!
