Writing: A Grounding Exercise

Sometimes there’s no better feeling than settling in, grabbing a pen, and putting your thoughts on paper.

I’ve always been a fan of a little rhyme or jingle, but tonight I also wanted to touch on growth, the lessons of the past few days, and staying true to my authentic self.

Thanks to an energy session, I’ve recently learned I need to do more grounding work; this means more time in nature, more meditation, more writing, and more sitting still.  As I become more balanced, I’ll think less and start sensing more.

Summer is the perfect season to connect with your root chakra, ground yourself, and spend time in nature.  I must admit, it’s been a challenge to stay grounded these past few weeks- but with a few techniques, it’s possible to improve your anxiety, concentration, and overall happiness.

We all have the ability to be free no matter what our situation- we are each responsible for our own thoughts, feelings, and reactions to the world around us.

It just takes practice.

Life truly is beautiful when we can calm our minds, sit still, and reflect within. ✨
